The Executive Committee discussed the cost of subscriptions for the coming season and has agreed to the following changes:
Membership type 25/26 24/25 Senior 200 195 Mini/Youth 200 195 Ladies 125 60 Social 50 50 VP 50 50 Life 0 0 Y2S 60 60 Students (full time) 10 10 The cost for second siblings will remain the same at £105, and no charge for any additional siblings.
The other change for this season is a reduction of the discount at the Bar (i.e. not including purchases from the Kitchen), down from 20% to 15%. This is due to ongoing additional costs the club is facing in the current economic climate, including increased supplier costs and higher staffing costs.
QUERIES AND PAYMENTS
Please direct any Sportsmember and Subscription related questions to your AGM in the first instance. Contact Mike Tackley directly in relation to any other memberships, i.e. VP/Social/Life Members.
Payment Methods
The easiest way to pay is by using the email link sent in the payment request email from Sportsmember. You must accept the terms in order to proceed to the secure payment page. You should then be able to process payment using a debit/credit card. Please contact your AGM for any payment issues in the first instance.
Alternatively…
- Payment may be made by direct debit. Please contact your AGM in the first instance and we can look at the amount/tenor before getting this set up.
- Payment can be processed over the Bar (no cash!) Please ensure that your details have been recorded in the subscriptions book.
Automated Payments
As per my message last season, many members have ticked the automated payment button which will take the subs directly from your bank account on Monday, 1st September. If you wish to turn this feature off, you can do the following in your SM account:
- Profile settings > Payment Overview (Membership fee from the computer).
Alternatively:
- Tools (bottom left-hand corner of computer screen) > Profile settings > Subscriptions and Payments. Here you can edit your credit/debit cards details.
Please note, the club cannot amend your preference settings in Sportmember.
Refund Requests
Whilst we encourage early payment of subs to support the cash flow within the club, last season the club incurred bank charges for refunding those who didn’t want to renew their membership for various reasons, and we are keen to avoid this occurring again. Please contact me directly for any refund requests. Please note, we may have to charge an Admin fee for refunds to cover our bank charges incurred.
