BRFC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
======================================================
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNITY: BRFC accepts no liability for any damage, loss, illness or injuries resulting from participation at BRFC howsoever that may have been caused, save for death or personal injury caused by BRFC’s own negligence. BRFC accepts no liability for any illness or injury resulting from over-exertion, aggravation or precipitation of any medical condition. All persons participate at BRFC on the express understanding that it is at their own risk.
INSURANCE: Whilst coaching and matches are supervised to minimise the risk of injury, rugby is a physical contact game. The benefits under the compulsory RFU insurance cover are low, even for serious injury, and do not cover loss of earnings. It is therefore recommended that additional cover be taken out. Further information about the RFU's insurance cover may be found at http://englandrugbyinsurance.co.uk/
Please note that BRFC, its servants, agents or employees will not be responsible for supervising junior/mini players before or after coaching sessions or matches. The RFU encourages players to have an up-to-date tetanus injection. A properly fitted gum-shield and head-guard is also recommended.
GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION: (GDPR) .Some of the data disclosed by a Member to BRFC will be “Personal Data” as defined by the GDPR May 25th 2018. We may not be able to accept membership if personal data is not provided. BRFC will hold this “Personal Data” for the purposes of maintaining a full record of a Member’s details. In providing this information you are agreeing that you may be contacted by BRFC or their sponsors. BRFC agrees to use the Personal Data in accordance with any instructions given to it by the Members, and agrees to comply with all relevant legislation with regard to the keeping of “Sensitive Personal Data”. Members should let the Membership Secretary know during the course of the season if there are any changes to the membership details provided.
INTERNATIONAL TICKET BALLOTS: Membership of the Club entitles you to join the ballot for International Tickets run by the Club. An application may only be made after all forms have been completed and subs paid. You may only make one application per member or family.
GIFT AID: If you choose to make a donation in addition to your subscription you have agreed to assist with the club’s infrastructure development program. You are also confirming that the donation may be treated as a gift aid donation and that you have paid an amount of income and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that BRFC will reclaim on the donation in the current tax year (currently 28p for every £1 donated).
