What a fantastic weekend of rugby!

BRFC U15's and U16's are both Bucks Cup Champions BRFC 1's beat league leaders Marlow in a thriller

Started on Saturday with the 1's hosting Marlow at home and beating them 24-19 in a truly thrilling match. We led 19-14 with less than 5 minutes to go, Marlow scored an unconverted try in around the 78th minute making it 19-19. Playing from deep, the team made their way up the pitch, maintaining possession, with some great handling and superb support to score in the dying minute of stoppage time! Great match, possibly the best performance of the season - Well Done.

The 2's were away at Redingensians and despite scoring 4 tries and securing a bonus point, they lost by 4 points 28-24.

Our Colts played Maidenhead, who are league leaders in the next league up in a friendly, suffering their first loss of the season in a great, well contested match, 35-38.

Whilst on the colts, a quick apology, last week, I informed you that Elliot Moss has a 4 year contract at Ospreys, it is actually, his younger brother Dylan, who now has 4 caps for Wales U18's.

Saving the best of the rugby till last! Sunday saw both our U15's and U16's in their respective Bucks Cup Finals being played at High Wycombe. The U15's faced Buckingham and the U16's played Amersham and Chiltern.

Both matches were absolutely fantastic, the attitude, intensity and skill levels of the players was a joy to see. They are an absolute credit to their Coaches, who have put so much effort in over the years, to their parents, to BRFC but mostly to themselves, they should all be very proud.

Both age groups won and are now Bucks Cup Champions, the U15's beat Buckingham 17-8 and the U16s beat A&C 22-7. Well done to everyone involved.

This weekend will be a big one as well, in terms of matches being played. There are 3 touring U13 teams converging on BRFC for matches in the morning, the U15's and U16's have been invited down for presentation of the cups then the 1's play Milton Keynes and the Bandits host Bracknell Bulls.

There will be a BBQ running all day and the Bar will be open. I assume the sun will shine on us, so do come down, the season is drawing to a close so you won't have too many excuses left to get out on a Saturday!

Hope to see you all down at the club over the weekend!

Cheers
Chris
