Very Sad News

4 months ago By Chris Summers

David McKay

Dear All

I am writing to you today to pass on the sad news that one of our Club Members very sadly passed away last week

David McKay, who has been involved at the club for 10 years as parent and coach to his two sons, Cameron and Curtis.

I believe that David fell ill whilst on a ferry on Wednesday and despite the best efforts of the Paramedics, they were unable to save him.

David has left behind, his wife, Tracey and two sons, Cameron and Curtis and our heart goes out to them all at this very sad time.

There have been many messages of support sent to Tracey and she has expressed how good it is to receive these and has told us, how much David loved everything about BRFC, the ethos of Rugby, the tours, the tournaments and the friends that he made through the Club.

At the moment, there are no details of Davids funeral, but if the family wishes, I will pass them on in due course.

In the meantime, I am sure that you will join me in sending your thoughts, love and prayers out to Tracey, Curtis and Cameron at this very sad time.

Regards
Chris Summers
Chairman.
